About Kristan

Kristan is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and Canadian Certified Counsellor with over nine years of community-based experience supporting children, teens, adults, and couples across all stages of life. She uses a trauma-informed, client-centred approach and integrates evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), internal family systems (IFS), solution-focused therapy, attachment-based approaches, and play therapy to provide individualized and meaningful care.

Kristan supports clients navigating a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, stress, trauma, ADHD, autism spectrum concerns, and life transitions. She also works with individuals seeking support around boundaries, self-understanding, and developing practical coping skills that translate into everyday life. Kristan believes therapy should be collaborative and tailored to each person’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals, with a strong therapeutic relationship at the core of the work.

Kristan offers a supportive, collaborative space to explore challenges, build insight, and develop practical coping strategies. She is committed to meeting clients where they are and supporting meaningful change at a pace that feels right.
