About Amy
Amy has extensive experience supporting youth and young adults in the non profit sector and brings a warm, grounded approach to ADHD counselling. She is committed to creating a space where clients can show up as they are, without pressure or judgment, and explore how ADHD shows up in their daily lives, emotions, relationships, and sense of self.
Amy takes a client centred, collaborative approach, helping individuals understand their ADHD in a way that feels empowering rather than pathologizing. She supports clients with concerns related to ADHD, Autism, gender identity, trauma, anxiety, and depression, and tailors her work to meet each person’s unique strengths, needs, and learning style.
Using evidence based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness based strategies, and narrative therapy, Amy helps clients build practical tools for emotional regulation, executive functioning, and self compassion. Her work focuses on helping clients make sense of their internal experiences, reduce shame, and develop strategies that genuinely fit their lives.
Amy is dedicated to walking alongside her clients as they navigate their ADHD journey, supporting them in building confidence, resilience, and a clearer understanding of who they are.
